Microsoft Shocks the world by announcing its next generation Gaming Console, the Xbox Series X:

In this post, I'll be talking about Microsoft's next-gen Gaming Console, the Xbox Series X. have mentioned it's design, expected launch date, expected price, capabilities, specs, and much more. I have tried my best in making this post very smart and simple. I won't be going deep. So here's a small post on Xbox Series X.

## Capabilities:

The Series X will be having four times the power of Xbox One X. Microsoft has given it a title of  " Fastest, most powerful Gaming Console ever." The Xbox Series X will be having much more reduced loading time than the Xbox One X.

## Specs:

Phil Spencer, the head of Xbox says that Xbox Series X will be four times more powerful than the Xbox One X (as I mentioned above), delivering more immersion, more exploration and more detail.


He also mentioned that the GPU will be eight times powerful than Xbox One and two times powerful than Xbox One X.


It has 8 core 3.6GHz Custom AMD Zen 2 chip of CPU.


It will come with GDDR6 and next-generation of SSDs that are said to offer 40 times the performance of current SSDs.

# Design:

It will be the most powerful gaming console. So it's obvious that it will cause great amount of heat. To prevent it, Series X tall tower casing has a larger volume to accommodate air flow via a single fan and extra heatsinks. Microsoft has claimed that it be as quiet as Xbox One X.

## Expected Launch date:

It will be launch holiday 2020. It is expected that it will be launching before Christmas period.

## Expected Price:

There's no hint of its price. It is expected that it will cost nearly $ 550 USD/37000 INR.

## It will support 8K resolution.

Series X will be supporting 8K gaming with up to 120 fps.

## It will have a new controller.

There will be a new d-pad and improved latency. There's also a 'Share' button added to make capturing screenshots and clips easier.

## It will be backward compatible.

All titles that are launched for Xbox One, Xbox 360 and even the original Xbox are compatible with Xbox Series X.
